Circular sound electronics upcycled
Transparent audio objects made from old, recovered electronic components, disassembled and reassembled. By keeping everything visible, these headphones, earbuds, and Bluetooth speakers show how sound is produced, while staying simple to use, easy to repair, and a bit DIY.
The project grew out of volunteering at Repair Cafés, where many devices, especially audio equipment, turned out to be simple to understand once opened up. Clear reuses forgotten but still capable speakers to build new, transparent objects. Showing the internals isn’t a style choice, it’s meant to help people understand how the object works, and feel comfortable opening it themselves.
